This release is a combination of two different recording sessions. The first 5 songs were recorded in Erick's basement during the summer before Ethan and Justin went to college. They were supposed to go on a split album with Infamy that never saw the light of day.

The last two songs were recorded in our first year of college after we had gone from a three piece to a four piece; Justin had switched from bass to guitar and we added Ryan Reidy as our bass player.

A few weeks after this recording, Ethan would quit the band and we would reform into what became ...revel in the morning.
